Wadsworth's is pleased to announce a new and exciting initiative for 2005.

In response to increasing interest and demand for fine contemporary rugs and carpets, we are pleased to announce that Wadsworth's are designing its own exclusive collection of individually designed contemporary rugs and carpets. We anticipate the launch of our first collection to be in the summer of 2005.

I am pleased to be working with our own experienced textile designer, Jenny Oldham, to help create our collection, which draws inspiration from the 20th century’s greatest artists and designers, and from early classical weavings, emphasising harmony of colour, simplicity of design, clean lines and sumptuous texture.

Our collection will be hand woven by expert weavers from the Afghan Pakistan border region, using the finest vegetable dyed wool and natural materials.

Our aim is to create imaginative design brought to life by the art of the weaver to complement and enhance contemporary furnishing settings.
